Hoo We Are: We are a group of twenty-year-olds learning to make it through life living on our own. We all have specific interests and specific struggles. Our goal is to create a virtual “nest” to help inspire and make life simple for others living in their twenties as well as ourselves.

Marissa Hyatt is the founder of and main writer for Owl’s Nest. She is a 20-year-old college student working on getting her BA in Communications. She grew up in Franklin, TN in a family full of girls (youngest of 5). She enjoys cooking, writing, reading, and making others feel loved and welcomed. She is very passionate about food, traveling, and environmental issues and seeks to help inspire others to follow their passions. She likes french pressed coffee, truffle oil, candles, taking baths, and fresh flowers.

Caitlin Ishee is a writer for Owls Nest. She is a 20-year-old college student and is working on getting her BA in English Literature with a focus on Renaissance Literature. She grew up in Franklin TN and is the oldest of 4 children. She enjoys reading, writing, and records. She is very passionate about reading and teaching and wants to become a professor of literature.
